Investigators link several wildfires to one arsonist Associated Press
CASCADE Investigators say they think one suspect has set four fires in the area during the past two weeks by driving to secluded streets and lighting nearby tinder-dry ground.
The fires in this wooded mountain community 13 miles west of Colorado Springs began in mid-May. Three fires were set on consecutive days, always when conditions were hot and dry.
There was a short break until Thursday's blaze, which burned 6.5 acres on private and National Forest land. The fire was fully contained Friday.
All the fires have been set near residential streets close to Highway 24, officials said. The arsonist picks roads with easy access and strikes in the afternoon.
No evidence has been discovered.
